To celebrate Jessica’s upcoming high school graduation we spent spring break (March 11-18) in Canada’s Bow Valley with Louise and Chuck. We flew into Calgary, Alberta and drove about an hour west to Canmore, a small town just outside Banff National Park in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. In Canmore we rented a house with a spectacular view of the Rockies. We also spent some time in Banff and drove further into the park to Lake Louise, which has to be one of the most beautiful places on earth.
We decided not to do any skiing since the boys are still a bit too young, so we just did some sight-seeing, shopping and a little sledding. It was a great week.
