A buoy (Cameron called it a booty) washed up on shore right in front of the house recently, from who knows where out in the ocean, and was stuck in the sand. The Coast Guard had been out but was unable to move it, so there it sits.
This photo was taken at about 9pm by leaving the shutter open for 30 seconds at ƒ/5.3 — it’s pretty amazing how much light the camera can pull in when there doesn’t seem to be any light at all.
