On Thursday we drove into Gatlinburg, about 20 miles to the east of Townsend. We had lunch there and walked around looking at the shops. The town was just crowded enough to make us cut our visit short, so we headed another six miles away to the town of Pigeon Forge where we went to Wonder Works. It was crowded there too but the boys had a good time.
